Steve Griffith, Managing Partner
Steve, Managing Partner of TalentMax, is a certified executive coach and brings over 30 years of experience as a human resources leader with multiple organizations such as Capital One, Wells Fargo, the Federal Reserve Bank, ADT, and Kellogg Company. Steve has built impactful high-potential leadership development programs and designed and implemented integrated talent processes encompassing talent acquisition, talent assessment, succession planning, engagement, learning, and performance management. He is a change leader with significant experience in organizational transformations including restructuring, M&A integrations, and establishing values-based cultures.
As an executive coach, Steve quickly builds trusting relationships with the people and teams he coaches and helps them to set specific goals to accomplish to enhance their effectiveness. Through deep listening and challenging questions he provides a springboard for self-reflection. The insights derived from self-assessment guide leaders and teams to identify and own their strengths, blind spots, and development opportunities. Clients are then able to own their behaviors and mindset shifts to better align their intentions with demonstrated behaviors that improve leader and organization outcomes. Steve provides a safe space for leaders to be vulnerable, self-reflect, challenge themselves, practice new behaviors, and achieve demonstrated results that are mutually desirable to both the leader and the organization they work in.
He specializes in working with C-Suite and high potential leaders to build competencies on communication, presence, outcome focus, new role assimilation, team leadership, leading transformations, and authenticity.
